"Spectra" is a term in astronomy for the 'unique combination of light hues' emitted by a star. So, we want our work to have a multi-faceted shine – attracting attention and bringing business results for clients.

It also means a 'wide range' - of media forms - including websites, brochures, ads, letters, etc.

Teamwork with all-round skills to deliver the goods

Our team comprises myself, David Frank (director), plus contractors and partner companies with complementary skills. We're based in Wellington, New Zealand, but do a bit of work for overseas clients.

In my past life, I was a telecommunications professional working in sales and marketing, documentation, management, design, and project management. I've also worked in the manufacturing, electrical, and building sectors.

A small business serving small business

It's not easy making a small-to-medium enterprise successful. It can be a struggle keeping up with such a wide range of aspects of running a business. Having the 'technical' skills in one's field is only part of the picture.

We all have our strengths, and mine is marketing communications. I offer clients the benefit of hard-earned know-how gained along the way by study and practice. It's a synergy of partnering with my clients to the best advantage.

A life outside work...

Work/ life balance can be a challenge for many business owners, but a fullfilling personal life is important. I've enjoyed a variety of interests and life experiences over the years - especially outdoor pursuits, travel, art, animals, and Christian ministry.
